what brand ipod interface has the best sound quality?

looking to get a ipod interface for the 02' Liberty. I don't want the style that attaches to the antenna, i want the one that plugs into the back of the factory deck and allows for ipod control.

seams there are several brands, but which one is a quality unit? PAC any good? and what would i expect to pay? $75? $100?

THX in advance.

this interface will give you full ipod controls from the jeep radio

using the CDC or MODE button the radio will see the ipod as a cd changer

buttons 1 to 6 will be play list on the ipod or 1 to 5 and preset 6 will be aux input for dvd or sat radio

this interface will also charge the ipod, when you use the fm or other source the ipod will pause and turn off a few minutes later

if you press the cdc or mode button ipod will wake up and play in 3 seconds

this interface get the audio from the preamp of the ipod and not the headphone jack ,by doing this all eq setting will by bypass

you get better audio,no distortion and bass treble or any eq can be adjust from the factory jeep radio

Well, from what I can see only one company makes it for your vehicle, GROM so I don't think you have too many options the site I linked to wants 75.00 but I saw one on Ebay for as low as $55. It seems like what you are looking for, direct Input with "CD quality" sound (probably more like Mp3 quality since that is what is being played) it seems to do it all, even charge. But I have not first hand experience with it, probably might want to look to customer reviews.

    Good Luck Rick.

    Rick,

i dont really have an answer to your question, cause i have no idea which one is best. i have a Pioneer n3, and i got the i-pod adaptor that plugs into the radio. i wish i hadnt. reason being is its a PAIN IN THE A$S to control from the head unit. you might really want to test the bajesus outta them before you buy one.

    good luck
