i'm shopping for an ak-47. what i'm wonding is whats really the differnce between them. i'm not looking for the most accurate weapon in the world. so here is exactly what i'm looking for.

1. reliability. i know the original AK was one of if not the most reliable gun ever. i want one like that.

2. its gotta be a 7.62x39

3. i've seen them on sale at dunhams sporting goods for $399. is this a good deal, or a cheaply made gun?

4. this is the other gun i'm looking at buying. though i'm not sure if i want to buy it online

also when i say whats the differnce between them what i mean by that is the differnce in brands. i know some ak's are made in the usa, but some are made in russia, eastern eurpoe, and even china. i guess i dont know what country makes the most reliable, even though the russian and chinease versions seem like they should be the most reliable. but then logic steps in and makes me wonder if the chinease have ever made anything reliable.

i have windows xp spysweeper and nos 32 anti virus. however when i do a search, no matter what search engine i use, 1/2 the time i click the link it rediects me to some other website. its a differnt site everytime so even when i block the website it doesnt matter cause next time i do a search its a difernt site. any software that will stop this redirect would be sweet. or any other sugestions would be cool too.

hi. I have a 1971 ski nautique with a 1971 ford 302 small block in it.

what I’m looking to do is get more power out of the engine. I know for a fact that its not a boss 302, cause of the round freeze plugs, and it’s a 2 bolt main.

I’d like to get about 400 horsepower out of it. or at least in the ballpark. but I want it all on the low end, so I can pull about anything out of the water.

I’ve thought about boring it out to a 347, but I’d have to pull the motor. which I’ve done before. . . .. and don’t ever want to do it again.

so here are the limitations. I cant touch the exhaust, cause it a marine exhaust. so headers and mufflers are a no. the carb is also a marine carb. it’s a holly 650 cfm 4 barrel with electric choke. those are the 2 things I cant touch. other then that I can do anything I want. oh and one more thing. it’s a reverse rotation motor. meaning if a standard 302 rotates clockwise mine rotates counter clockwise. so I don’t know if its possible to put a cam in it.

oh one more thing when I say 400 horsepower I mean at the crank. unlike a car there is very little drag for the drive train. all that’s behind the engine is a hydraulic tranny, and a prop shaft.

I was thinking about getting a edlebrock performer intake, heads, and possibly cam (if it will work). but I don’t know how much low end power that will make. oh also the motor already has 351 heads on it. i'm pretty sure there 351 clevland heads, not windsor.

my budget is about $2,000 or close to it.

any thoughts, suggestions, links, or anything else would be very helpful.

is there a way to plug in my ps3 to my pc, and play it? the reason i'm asking is cause i own my own buissness, and were dead right now. so all i have is my pc for entertainment. i'd love to be able to plug in my ps3 and go to town. is this possible? also i dont want to just plug the ps3 into the monitor, cause if a customer comes in i dont want to have to mess around unpluging and pluging things in.

i'm trying to kind the episode where spiderman takes on the fantastic 4. i cant find any info on it any where. i own the entire series and cant find it. i'm just wondering if i'm on crack, or if it was a special episode, or what. i'm not talking about where he goes the the other planet with the F4, storm, capt america, and iron man. this was totally differnt.

i remember spiderman going to the fantastic 4 for help. they end up fighting and spiderman ends up winning until mr.fantastic gets in the way and talks to spiderman. thats all i remember, if you can help me find this episode, or hell even if you remember seeing it.

I think that sometimes we tend to get wrapped up in what brands/speakers we like so much, that we forget that its all opinion based.

for example kicker_guy_l7 loves L7s and Kicker in general. He thinks they sound great, and they have great SPL. Thats where i disagree with him. i think Kickers have good SPL, but sound horrible. does that mean hes wrong? no. does that mean i'm wrong? no. it means were 2 different people that hear things differently.

Now he has accused me indirectly of never hearing a L7 or a Kicker sub. this is where i have to draw the line. its very unfair for someone assume what others have, or have not heard. everyone's experience is different. and as i have said before everyone hears different things. there is no need to be childish.

i dont hold a grudge against kicker_guy_l7. i'm just letting people know to be civil to each other in here. there is no need for childish acts over a difference in opinion.

I'm just curious what most YAHOO! answerers perfer. please explain why you like the brand as well.

yeah, i've read some posts where people are saying that someone has beaten Pioneer's record of 180.5 db. does anyone have a link, or pretty much anything that might be considered proof of this? or are people just throwing it out there with no proof, or facts? if anyone has proof of a car going over 180.5 db, please post the link.

long story short. my old gun took a crap. it took a 7.2 battry. my new gun take a 8.4. my question is can the charger for the 7.2v battery charge the 8.4 battery without any harm? i've got 2 8.4v batterys and only 1 charger.

the 7.2v charger says

OUTPUT: DC 7.2 V 250mA

My brother had a DS last winter. in that time my g/f fell in love with it. so last month i bought her one for her b-day. she wants a game that she played on my brothers, but no one can remember the damn name. we thought it was WarioWare but i just waisted $30, and about 3 hours going to 10 differnt stores all over town last night, to find its not the right game.

so i have no idea wtf this game is called. there were lots of mini games on it. the only one i ever played was where you had to blow into the mic and Yoshi would float when you blew into it, and fall whe you didnt. you had to dodge bullets or something like that as well.

were stumpted. and i'll be damned if i waist anther 3 hours and $30. any help at all would be awesome.

when i play Blue Ray discs, and watch shows in HD there seems to be a lot of noise in the image. this happens when its a dark picture, or when images in the back round are out of focus. the focused image looks great, but the picture around it, not so much. is there anyway to reduce this noise? i'm using Monster 1000 cable all the way around.

oh, and the tv is a Mitsubishi Diamond WS-55813

does anyone have a link or any sort of proof about which one is better? i'd like to see these 2 face off against each other. i have seen the Amsoil test where they put Amsoil against about 9 differnt oils, both sythetic and mineral based, and Amsoil is best in all but one. i'm looking for something like that with Royal Purple in the test. i know RP is good stuff, cause i've watched on Trucks! where they took a Dodge Ram and dynoed it, drained all the fluids and replaced them with RP and it made 24 more lbs feet of tourqe at the wheels. i've also seen on Horsepower TV where a stock LS1 Camero made 9 more HP on the dyno with just a RP oil change. just wonderind which is best based on fact, not opinion.

do you listen to what sales people say is best? do you listen to your friends and buy whatever they tell you? does your friend have a great system, and you want to have the same set up he has? or do you actually listen to things for yourself? do you bring your own cd to the store to hear what your music will sound like? do you assume that when looking at 2 items together the more expensive item is always better?

i mean there are MUCH better companys out there, but why dont they advertise? people go ape sh*t for bose, and i dont understand that. dont other companys see that?

a little bit of back round on this amp. its a kicker 350x4 its about a year or so old. i used it on my fronts, but i thought i needed more power then the amp was putting out. so i put the amp in the original box, and put it away. well i got the amp out yesterday to put in my girlfriends cavalier. the amp wont turn on. test it was the first thing i did, cause i didnt want to run power to the trunk, and wires to the speakers only to kind out the damn thing wouldnt turn on. so tell me if i did something wrong. i put 8 ga to ground, which was the negitive battery terminal, took a 4 ga wire put it to + on the battery, and took a 16 ga wire and put it on the + terminal as well. there was nothing. no protective mode, no nothing. i havent hooked up a amp in a while, so i am hoping i didnt do something that is so simple. i hope the amp isnt screwed. please posts thoughts, or ideas, or anything. oh and the fuses are fine.
