Where does the red fern grow?

On the graves of the truly brave.

On the graves of those who are truly brave. At least according to the book. I've never seen a red fern so I really don't know. An excellent book though. I didn't really like the movie.

Not sure how this relates to R&S, but most ferns we have here are red when they start growing and they turn green later.

I had a teacher who read that to the class when I was in middle school. I don't remember the story well though.
