Personally, I feel that it's wrong to abort at any time, because I feel that a pregnancy really begins at implantation.

But that is a question that everyone is going to have a different answer for.

When do you feel that the baby is considered a human? At what stage do YOU feel that an abortion would be wrong? Is it implantation, like me? Is it when the heart begins to beat? Is it at, say... 12 weeks? How about 20?

If you are considering abortion yourself, or whether it's just something that you were thinking about today for no reason, to get an answer to your question, you're going to really have to search your soul and see how you feel about it, deep down inside.

You have to choose your actions depending on how you feel about it in your heart, and by whether or not you will be able to live with your decision for the rest of your life.

Your baby is considered a human immediately after conception...maybe not by our government, but that is what I believe. A baby's heart starts beating at 18 days. That means it is alive and is obviously a human. Babies are such a wonderful and amazing blessing. Please reconsider abortion. I believe you would regret it for the rest of your life. It's not something that you can ever take back and there have been women who have had abortions and then later found out that they could not get pregnant when they really wanted to.

If I were you, I would look into a Crisis Pregnancy Center or a church in your local area. If you are not able to take care of a child, they have lots of resources for adoption and other alternatives. Good luck and God bless.

It's not considered a human 24 hours after conception, it's called a zygote. The heart doesn't start to form until the 4th week. The critical stage is in the 7th month, if the lungs don't develope, the fetus won't survive. Abortion is usually done in the first trimester.

It's a legal procedure done everyday by people who are Pro-choice, Pro-Abortion, and amazingly enough, Pro-Lifers. Yes, that's the dirty little secret that nobody talks about. Pro-Lifers have abortions, they just don't tell anyone.

Well, according to the rationale that most of us seem to live by, "at any stage" is the logical answer. If a life is made when egg and sperm fuse, then what about all those week-late (or 3 week late) periods where the fertilised egg tries and fails to attach to the womb lining and is flushed out naturally in the menstrual flow? What about miscarriages at 6 weeks, where the baby is just a bloody mess in your knickers?

Should be be inspecting, baptising and potentially having funerals for our sanitary napkins?

A chimpanzee has the same intelligence as a 4 year old child. Yet we kill, keep in cages at zoos and experiment on these animals with the arguement that as they are less intelligent and aware than us, it's OK to do this.

So where does that leave a partly developed foetus?

It is the females decision on whether they should abort. I think its worse to bring a child into the world who is not loved and not taken care of. There are too many people in this world who abuse, mistreat and neglect their children/babies. If you dont think you can provide a loving, nurturing, and good start to the babies life then don't go through with the pregnancy. Its not fair on the child. However I believe its important to practice safe and responsible sex so to avoid these things. Abortion is a horrible thing to go through, both physically and emotionally. I would about no longer that 12 weeks. I would say less that 8 if anything.

Source(s): It happened to me and I terminated at 12 weeks. It was a devastating process for me. I do not actively support it but I am not 100% against it. If terminating though, do it asap. For me, it was physically painful and well as emotionally painful

I would first like to say, you need to weigh all your options before you decide on aborting, if you don't want the baby, I would seriously consider adoption. There are so many people that try to have kids that cannot, that would love to adopt a baby. My nephew was one of them.

I think they consider a baby in the womb at about 20 weeks, dont' quote me on that. I seriously want you to think about it. It is so permanent, and a lot of people consider it to be human at all stages of pregnancy.

    I agree with the last.

Any stage of the pregnancy is considered a human.

It is wrong to be even thinking of aborting.

i'm sorry, yet attempting to abort an undesirable being pregnant via your self is amazingly, very risky. specific processes could desire to reason intense beginning defects to the fetus if it does proceed to exist, and different processes could reason the mummy to get a intense an infection, bypass into sepsis, and die. If an abortion is needed, scientific scientific care could desire to be sought. i'm very sorry if it is no longer what you have been searching for, yet relax-certain that i'm usually very accepting of alternative comments in this challenge (surely, i'm professional-selection), and that i'm telling you with none religious time table, that this could be a very, very undesirable theory while you're considering this. i'm hoping you hit upon the convenience and help which you like. My suited needs bypass out to you.

I don't believe in abortion, but once you reach the 4th month or 11th week the baby is then considered a fetus, a living baby. 11 years ago my family tried to force me into aborting my son and I am glad I didn't.

Since it starts at conception, I'm guessing it is always human. The only thing that happened to that embryo is that it grew and changed just like every other living things does. It does not take more cells from the mother, it is independent afterwards
