Jeremy Shockey out, Giants in SB, coincidence?

Jeremy is from my home town of Ada, OK, but decided to go to Miami for College...so I have always considered him a trader...

But to the point of my question- The Giants have been terrific without him. I am surprised I have not seen this aspect mentioned anywhere, but does anyone think that he may have been a detriment to the team...with his loud mouth and sometimes mediocre play?

I think Jeremy is arrogant enough to actually have the thought run through his head that the Giants can't beat New England without him....

Anyone feeling me on this, or am I all alone?

I think a lot of people "quietly" want to agree with you but won't. Shockey is a great entertainer, he gets all fired up, and fans like to see that. There has been some talk that Eli has been more confident without him, but that's hard to believe when Shockey was one of Eli's fav targets. I hear that it's a lot more quiet in the huddle without him. He is still my favorite player

Shockey has a big mouth, but he plays hard for those guys. They are a better team with him.

he's overrated. half of Eli's interceptions this year were passes to him. coincidence? now, Eli has no one in the huddle who's gonna ***** and moan if he doesn't get every pass throw his way. time for a trade.

looks like the Rams guy want him.

All I know is if the Giants don't want him, the Rams would be happy to take him off their hands.

They miss him as a blocker, but they're much better without him as a receiver.
