It is easier than accepting the blame themselves.

Prison is full of people that are there because someone else messed up and did the wrong thing, like the cop that came back 3 times, and the family member that turned the drugs over to the police, or the stupid guy with the video tape.

It is all the same. The easiest person to blame is someone else.

The key word here is "breakdown." A parent that would try to blame a child of any age for their problems has mental problems. This person needs help.

You need to give more details in this case. Blame a grown child for their issues. What issues are you tolking about?

Well I have a daughter that I blame for destroying a second marriage and there is no doubt that she played a part however who's the adults who's supposed to be the intelligent ones in the relationships who are the enablers? we can blame them for their parts but only that.

Of course not. And you are in control of what you take the blame for or not. Do not allow some one else parent or otherwise to cast their guilt on to you. They need to get proper help for their selves.

No, it's not right. But it happens. Parents are people, and think of how many of our problems we blame on other people instead of us.

If it continues, though, something else is going on, and you need to talk to them.

no parent has a right to blame their child about their finacial problems and they sometimes may not realize they are doing this and if they say it is your fault they are very wrong and they need help it isnt you it is them

  • 1 decade ago

No it is not, they made the choice to be a parent, you didn't ask to be born only to be the blame of all their woes later in life!!!!
