What non-hometown team have you ever followed religiously, without ever going there?

Growing up in Cal as an A's fan, my friend wanted a different team to follow, and chose the Indians, who were horrible in 1980. Though he has never been there, he has been the biggest Tribe fan I've ever seen for 28 years now. He has about 9 jerseys, 5 hats, countless videos, and listens to or watches just about every game. What team do you follow like this, if any?

    There isn't one.

I'm a Red Sox fan. I used to live in a small town outside of Boston. So I went to Boston frequently up until I moved to Kentucky (I still go up a few times a year.)

I follow the Cardinals pretty closely, too (I'm not a Cardinals fan, though). But I've been to St. Louis more times than I can count.

Ive been a Braves fan for as long as i can remember. Ever since when Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz were still together. When Wohlers closed out the game throwing 95 plus. And when Pendleton was a hitting machine.

Well my top team is the Phillies and always will be. I live in Philadelphia, but i also follow the Padres, the Indians, and the Tigers, but i wouldn't say religiously. I only follow the Phillies religiously.

The Minnesota Twins. My whole family is from the area and I have been there but never been to a game but I am always frooting for them. Got to love the small market teams that compete every year.

Religiously? None. However, I always make it a point to follow the Cubs, Yankees, Red Sox, and any other team that piques my interest. Admittedly, there are quite a few.

I live in Los angeles area .. but the angels stadium is technically not IN LA it's in Anaheim.. but since they got the confusing name change thingy-ma-bobber i guess it's Los angeles angels.. anyways yeah.. i don't follow the dodgers as much as i follow the angels

but whenever interleague games come around and the angels face the dodgers there are two channels that play the same game. haha one for angel fans and one for dodger fans i guess ^^ i found that funny

I'm from Houston and I'll never root for any team but the home town Astros. I loathe bandwagon fans.
