Barnes Varmint Grenade question.?

Has anyone had any experience with the 36 grain Varmint Grenade in a .223 Remington? Any reloading information you have would be appreciated. I'll be shooting a 24" barrel with a 1 in 10 twist.

Some people are just really STUPID. All of the guys that I know that have used them did not like them. The accuracy is not as good as other bullets in the same class. One guy whos 223 will shoot in the .3" 5 shot range opened up to .8" 5 shot groups with the Barns VG bullets. He went threw 500 bullets 10 or 12 different powders and 3 different primer choices and could get nothing under .8" That sucks in the varmint world.

For the other reply look in any reloading manual the bullet diameter for the 5.56 nato/223 Rem is .224" just like all 22 caliber rifles made today. the only time you will run into a 22 center fire that is .223" is some of the old 22 Hornets.
