I have a problem...?

I have this problem of spoiling my gf. We have been together for 4 years and we are engaged. I love her with all my heart and I'm in love with her still. I know that she feels the same way. The problem is that she comes from a wealthy family and she is used to the finer things in life, while I am a average guy. Anyways i basically spend all my money buying her nice things, dolce, louis, R&R, true religion. Question is am i spoiling her too much? She's always thankful and she buys me nice stuff too, laptop, clothes, but she can easily afford it.

awwww that is nice of you. I think you are just really trying to live up to her expectations... while you are lowering your bank account balance. Obviously it seems you can not afford these things. I don't know if she sees that you can not, but if she does she is the biggest gold digger ever.

I mean... if she really loved you she would settle for dinner at a 5 dallor a plate sit down resturant.

It is kinda like that with my boyfriend and I. I have more money than him and I kinda feel bad. I don't even work and get money from my parents. He has to work for his money while whenver I buy him things it isn't ever my own money.

hmmm.... maybe that is the same with your girlfriend

I think that you have mad a big mistake. You should start doing things that are free or that cheap. See if she will have the same reaction. If she does then you are a lucky guy. If not you are in seep trouble cause yo might go into debt tring to spoil her.

well it's nice if you can do it but you shouldn't go broke! she's not with you because of your finances, she's with you because she loves you! don't be afraid to get her a dozen roses and skip the dolce! she'll understand. it's just the fact that you wanted to get her something that counts!
