Colin Edwards...?
I know its only testing and Colin Edwards usually does really well during it, but wouldnt it be great if he finally got a race win this year, instead of going backwards during the race? I have always liked Edwards for his attitude and personality and felt so sorry for him in Assen 06. If not Edwards, who do you think deserves a race win this year.
Its also promising to see JT, Dovi and de Anglis in the top 5 in testing too.
Only 5 weeks to Qatar!!
I agree Proc, would definately prefer Dovi to get a race win first out of all the rookies. Would love to see a lot of different winners this year, rather than one rider (even Rossi) dominating!!
Would love JT to get a few race wins this year, but because he's older, my brain didnt class him as a rookie!

Hey Cheryl
Come on colin! He kicked butt in superbikes, so lets hope he can go out with a bang (not literally - I don't mean fireball here!) in Motogp, I really hope for great things from Tek twaa Yami this year, it appears that JT's laps (all 81 of them) were consistently fast - unlike the other rookies there today - so I'm not just waving the flag when I say I think his experience and dedication will be what makes him the top rookie this year.
I'm not denying the other guys are fast, just more likely to be using their balls than their brains! Aaah, smells like teen spirit!

Hi Cheryl H. I think its a possibility early on in the season. Would guess that Toseland will surpass him later on. But the Yam may prove very competitive yet. especially if they get the gas valves early. I wouldn't really count anyone out of a win this yr. I would love to see Dovi win before Lorenzo. Just to prove point.

Can't see it happenning personally, if anything i see Pedrosa Stoner Rossi dominating with the likes of Hopkins Vermulen and Lorenzo chasing podiums. I hope JT gets a podium this year but i see this as a learning year for him. I hope Rossi wins back his title before he calls it a day or moves to WRC.

Hi Cheryl.I agree, was it that long ago.Colin has had a bum deal in MotoGP,from dud bikes to playing second to Rossi.I think he'll get at least one win this season.I'm totally biased and want to see hopper and the green machine get there also.Good luck to them all including the lollypop kids.

I dont know how much it will help, but Edwards & Vale have both won the Suzuka 8hr & Qatar is in the dark ( albeit, floodlight's ) It bit be a help, it might not.
My real world fear is the first rookie winner will be Lorenzo.
My heart say JT 52.
