Question about absinthe?
They have just made absinthe legal in my home town. What is the best brand (thats available here in the states)? Are some stronger than others? Which ones have the best effect?
What are some tips on serving/drinking it?
Thanks much!

The absinthe that is legal in the US is not true absinthe. The extract, which I think is from a flower native to Europe is missing in the stuff you can buy here. Consequently it doesn't taste the same or have the same effect as the true French stuff. We call it Green Fairy in Europe coz it's said if you drink too much of it that's what you'll see!
