Ever had a fraudulent charge on an account from bestsmartstore.com?

I'm curious to see how many others have seen the pattern that I have... If the answer to the initial question is yes:

--Did you report the charge to the creditor to have it removed?

--Was the charge under $10.00?

--Did it happen within 7-14 days after purchasing a credit-related product on-line through a credit bureau?

--Which product? (equifax, my fico, transunion, experian)

Sorry I haven't dealt with them but we did have a $3000 charge once through Sears. We went and bought a new mower the day after someone did this and the store came back to tell us we were way over our credit limit(we just paid it off). They got checking into it more and called their fraud dept. for us. We had to sign some papers and they caught the guy if we waited till our next billing period, they never would've caught him! Just luck. We wouldnt had to pay it anyway because it was in another state far from here and we had prooof we were here. LOl

Just to let you know, the guy purchased art work from an art gallery in some fancy store! Somehow he got our number from someone who was keeping receipts from a major chain that we went to. They got canned as well with many other people's numbers.

Did not goon our credit report.
