Should I continue ALLOWING my 15 year old son to watch the Boondocks & South Park?
He takes A/P English & Algebra at a special admissions school, and he received A's and B's on his last report card with excellent attendance and behavior.

I think its fine as long as he is doing well in school and is behaving well. Obviously he isnt using those shows as guidlines to live by. Sounds like you have a great kiddo!

Yes. I personally hate South Park (& Family Guy) & would not let my step sons watch them when they were younger (10 & 11). But now they are in high school, as long as they have good grades & behavior they are allowed to watch them & it has not brain washed them.
(Though I did have to make a rule about not quoting them to me LOL)

YES, because it's education...well the first season was, but now it's targeted to white auditions, because Aron lost creative control of it and stopped them from airing the show, but eventually settled with Adult swim, and now he's not going to make a Third season which is a good thing because the show gets worst every episode, with it's comedic way of conveying a social issues. But your son will understand what they're trying to "crudely" get across each episode.

Well, I don't know what his grades and intelligence have to do with him watching those shows. So if you are already allowing it, what is making you want to change your mind?
I do think those shows are kind of stupid, but at 15 he probably already knows about all the dirty stuff on those shows anyway.

By 15 I would say he is old enough. he probably knows every word and term in the book. He sounds smart..

Well, he does have good grades and he's pretty mature, right? If so, then sure why not, its really your decision, not ours, even though south park is a little inappropriate, but like I said, up to you.

you should let him watch it, he's old enough to realize that swearing and dirty jokes are pretty much everywhere, you cant really avoid it. its definitly not effecting his grades either so u might as well just let him watch it.
