Direct TV Question....?

You know how you have two cable lines coming from the dish going into the DVR? I was thinking that if I disconnect the one, I could hook up both tv’s in the living room. Have you tried that?

Won’t be able to record the game or anything, but it would be pretty cool.

it would work just fine. The only reason you need the two lines to your DVR is because it needs two signals to be able to process two lines of programming at once.

So, if you unplug one and plug it into another TV in the same room, you're getting the same deal, just with two receivers.

PLUS, your DVR will still be able to record the game so long as it stays on that channel.
