depression will make you feel this way about everything and everybody in your life...anti depressant pills will/should make you feel better, but...they work slowly and your dosage can take time to become adjusted to your needs...you can still feel depressed for a while after starting pills, as many take 3 to 4 weeks to get into your system. Your true self will return and along with it your feelings. Give yourself some time and be patient. You might have to try a different pill..talk to your doctor.

If you are talking about sexual feelings, absolutely. I too have had this but I recognize it for what it is. This is one of many complaints people on antidepressants have. The depressive feelings diminish but are often replaced by feeling nothing. Many describe is as a zombie state. It's well known that antidepressants have a significant impact on libido. That is one of the things that help keep us connected to our spouse. There's a lot more than sex to a long term relationship but the loss of desire and subsequent lack of closeness is often a breaking point for marriages. I strongly recommend you talk to your spouse if you are feeling like this so he/she will understand that what they is seeing is the result of medication and not a change in your feelings about them. If your spouse loves you enough, they will accept it for what it is and adapt. I wish you luck with this.

Of course! They cause people to kill their children. Anything that makes a mother do that is not safe. Don't toss 20 years for a pill. If you need to get out, maybe you are thinking clearer. I don't know your situation.

    Theoretically

I took antidepressants. The closest one that I had work for me made me not feel anything. I didn't cry, and I wasn't happy.
