Do you believe that a groundhog can predict six more weeks of Winter?

Now let the word go out across the land, six more weeks of winter is at hand.

That was the prediction of the one, the fun, the actual, the factual, the only, the no-baloney, the anointed, the appointed, the double-jointed (stuffed but still zippy) Groundhog known as Octoraro Orphie.

****************************

This is the groundhog to which I pay attention as a rational person. HA!

    Sure!! Why not?

No matter which way you look at it,according to the calendar, there are 6 more weeks till spring.

Here, our groundhog is called "Wiarton Willie" and the people in that town have a lot of fun with it.Winter games for the children, pancake breakfast, snowmobiling, skiing and all kinds of entertainment. What a great way to enjoy what's left of winter.

It's fun whether you believe in the groundhog or not !!

Listen if people believe a groundhog can predict weather we will have more winter or not. Then I want to meet the animal who will know a cure for disease.

I do not believe an overgrown rodent can be used as a valid weather predictor. Um. .no offense to any groundhogs out there.
