Are underwires not a good idea?
A friend of mine went to see the doctor recently and she was told by her doctor that wearing bras with an underwire can possibly be a detriment to one's health...has anyone else heard this?

nope... underwires do not cause problems... that is if u wear the right size. If the wire is not on the bust route then it is a problem ... it can cause cancer, if the wire sits on the bust tissue, it clots the blood... posing a chance for the occurance of cancer. Hence the answer to ur question is yes and no both... be sure of finding the right cup size.

no ihave under wires in all of my bras and my doctor has never told me anything about it . Maybe your friends doctor needs to go to college again. hes confused.
