I use Firefox since I'm a web developer/designer. FF is the only browser available which comes close to meeting all of the CSS2 web standards. This means you see the page as it really is coded and not as what the browser "thinks" it should be like IE does.

I like Firefox, too, because it has a "zillion" useful add-ons and plug-ins.

No browser is totally secure, but FF developers seem to provide updates/bug fixes much, much quicker than Micro$oft's.

Opera, if you want a fast loading browser, is the one to get. Plus, it has a lot of great little widgets you can add in.

Safari for Windows would be my third pick.

If you don't want to use IE, but need it for accessing IE only type sites, then Maxthon browser is a really nice clone, but you would be better off using Firefox and installing its IETab extension.

Netscape pretty much uses the same engine as Firefox and many of the Firefox extensions work on those versions of Netscape.

    Firefox. F*CK YEAH!!

Why? Because it sure beats the sh*t out of Netscape and IE!

Safari is too basic and plain anyways. It's an iMac program.

But anyways, I LOVEEEE Firefox. Oh, the add-ons... the "restore sessions"... the spell checks. They make life a piece of cake! I love my add-ons. The Stumble add-on is my favourite. So is my Accu-Weather LOL! I find that the speed on this is so much faster, downloading and loading pages is much easier to handle and manage. I used to use IE but now I totally hate it because Firefox makes it look so crappy. I still don't understand why people choose to use IE over Firefox!

    Good night.

EDIT: And I agree with the stuff Ron said above!

    Source(s): Firefox lover LOL.

Maxthon is an exceptionally superb option. it incredibly is in fact a sparkling shell for IE. (do no longer start up questioning "Eww, undesirable protection," IE's protection is enormously sturdy, oftentimes in basic terms person fault inflicting subject concerns.) Maxthon a million, i think of is in fact IE7 maybe even IE6 for rendering concepts. Maxthon 2, via default it runs the IE7 engine, or in case you have IE8 put in, you should use it incredibly is engine particularly, (yet 7 continues to be default despite if 8 is put in) Maxthon 3, at the instant interior the alpha ranges, so it incredibly is lacking fairly some useful factors, yet enables you to turn between the IE7 engine and Webkit (that's used via Opera and such). considerable downloads are for a million and a couple of. 3 you should go searching interior the communicate board. Maxthon can provide lots of useful factors which includes skins, build in commercial blockading, importing/downloading favorites, rapid tabs, custom downloader, mouse gestures, and greater.
