I know a teacher at Sycamore. They were recently the highest paid school district in Ohio, until Indian Hill passed them recently. So, because of that, they have a pretty good teaching staff, since so many teachers would like to work there, that they get to choose from a large pool of applicants for any given opening. They are very highly rated. Their tax rate, despite the high wages, isnt too bad as its mainly business taxes which cover the funding. They are particularly known for being a school which has great special programs for kids with special needs (Autistic, Mentally challenged, ADHD, or whatever). Many parents in the Cincinnati area will move into the Sycamore School District if they have a child with one of those issues, as they attention they receive is so much more than many other places. Overall, its quite a good district.
