Obama vs. Clinton (my first ever question, be gentle!)?
Well, folks. Time has finally come for me to ask my first question since I started using Y!A since I join 6 months. It's not a question per se, but it's more of gauging people's opinions. Will try to pick a best answer, but I think people should get more out of my question than the answers that are listed.
Now my question is: what's everyone's perception about Obama vs. Clinton. Here is a posting I have about why Obama ain't good enough in "Hope is not enough":
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xreaders_rant/messag...
"Since I don't believe any Republicans will stand a chance against the democratic front runners, namely Hillary and Obama. I am aiming to give those who read this post better perspective about the differences between Hilary & Obama.
Casting aside the facts that Hillary being female & Obama being black, my choice for president will be Hillary (and no, Obama can not be on Hillary ticket for VP...."
Um, since I joined on June 2006. It's more like 18 months ago, lol.
For those don't agree with my thinking of why Obama is inexperienced, obviously did not read my whole posting through. I gave out the example of why Obama is not experienced, and the issue hits myself very personnally, too. My thing is that, yes, everyone wants change, but what kind of change? Obama personifies a whole new system, but I am sorry. It takes decades (if not centuries) for the system to work right (that is without major turmoils). Obama only has 8 years at most. He CANNOT setup a whole new system. NO ONE can!! You can try to tweak the current system and make sure the change is as smoothe as possible without major pains. Yet, who is the most capable and the determination to performing this delicate task? Hillary, and Hillary only. Everyone's else is either a fantasy or a joke. Other than Hillary having a slight chance, the next prez of USA is screwed big time because of Dubya (can't call him by his last time, trying leave some diginity for his dad).

Asking this kind of question is pointless. People either don't have the capacity to understand the issues or just don't care to understand. In the end, what's the point?

Clinton is simply more of the same. NOTHING will change. She is a bureaucrat. Nothing More.
You say Gender/Race is not an issue, yet you bring it up.
Just like the media. Keep it to the forefront and it is a concern...
CLUE: Race/Gender is not an issue. The sooner we discard that crap when the media forces it into our face, the better off we are.
Obama represents ... a new Viewpoint from the White House. If nothing more than that...THAT is what we need.
No President is a King. Including George Bush. Every politician had a hand in getting this country where it is today.
If you (anyone) wants to believe that crapola about George Bush being solely to blame for our policies?....what a fool you are.
I have voted Independent, I have voted Republican....and I have voted Democrat.
I will vote for the best chance to improve America and my choice is Obama, merely because it forces the White House to accept a new view.
Peace.

I like Hillary. Obama seems he would be a relatively good candidate, but I am concerned about his lack of experience. He is a great speaker, but he hasn't done anything yet. He accepted a job as Illinois Senator yet has completely neglected his duties! He has been asked about several issues concerning me, an Illinois resident, yet responded that he had been busy and did not know about the issues. Its his job! At least he's honest though, and in all fairness Hillary may be neglecting her job as Senator too

It boils down to health care.
Yes, the system is beyond broke, but NO: the answer is not mandatory health care.
Obama was very intelligent in the way he addressed this issue in last weeks debate with Clinton.
I liked the plan he proposed.
Either way, whomever wins, the job of running this country is gonna be tough.

Hi, it's super tuesday. I live in Canada, but have the feeling that Obama will come out ahead of Hilary. Obama seems to have that charisma that draws people, and is an excellent speaker. Sometimes this goes a long way in winning elections. He just has his youth against him.

I started to read your opinion/fact and came to conclusion very quick and with out completing. You give Obama bad marks for being inexperienced. My obvious questions to you: Why would you want more of the same in Washington? What makes you think being a elected official of state or united states automatically qualifies you for the Presidency of a Democracy! I would think just the opposite. Those elected to the presidency should not be or have been a "politician"!

Your premise is wrong. Ron Paul has polled higher than both Hillary and Obama. He's antiwar and voted against the war just like Obama did - they both have that over Hillary. Ron Paul also has the only plan among the candidates that would reduce spending so he has that on Obama and Clinton, not sure on Gavel though - this according to the Taxpayer's Union.

Our family is leaning towards Obama. He has the qualities we want to see in a president.
