    alopecia areata is NOT a generalized loss of hair, but baldness in discrete areas, commonly a result of fungal infections or systemic illness, sometimes psychiatric illness. Commonly once the illness resolves the hair can grow back

    Alopecia is when you cant grow any hair on your whole body...maybe just a little peach fuzz
