There are a lot of different signs and symptoms. Some women just get depressed, some cry and in extreme cases some women even get suicidal or want to hurt their children. She should see a doctor right away and if she cannot afford one try finding a clinic in the area. I don't know what state you live in but where I live there are places where you can go even if you have little or no insurance and they only make you pay what you can afford.

Reecpeec mentioned all of it. =) I feel it is most often a little bit of each. That Robin is crushed and is partially depressed b/c she feels insufficient and that the child most often does experience that and it maybe making her uncomfortable round her mommy. But, such as you mentioned, there are lots of motives for postpartum melancholy, and lots of different signs, so optimistically that writers will cross into that as good, as an alternative of looking to make us suppose that Robin is depressed b/c her child would possibly not give up crying. Not to sound sexist, however it is so seen that was once written through a person.

  • after giving birth the nurse exaplaing to my boyfriend the signs and symptoms because most women will not realize what is going on..so he will be able to tell if somethings wrong..

i had the baby blues..not depression.. and i was crying all the time and really just tired..you can speak to someone at planned parent hood or somehting like that even your doctor.

Talk to your OB or to your practitioner. They can help you determine if you have it.
