Question about posting links on questions/and in answers..?

For the last few hrs,I have not been able to post links on Yahoo Answers.

I notice many other users are having the same problem.

Is this something that Yahoo has done intentionally,or is it a tempory glitch in the system???

Update:

I can't copy and paste. :(

Update 2:

Yes Lefty, that is what I meant.

My links are not highlighted.

Actually for a few days I had the same problem. Friday evening it seemed to correct itself though, and that feature is functioning normal for me anyways.

While it was down I used a site called 'Tinyurl'. It will take a 100+ character URL, and shrink it down to a few characters. I found that by using it, I could still paste the entire link...and people could still copy and paste if they needed. If you're still experiencing problems I recommend it.

But unfortunately Y!A does not allow me to post the link to the 'Tinyurl' website. I've just tried several times, and I'm denied. Try Googling 'Tinyurl'...I'm sure you'll find it.

It works great for posting links in Yahoo 360 comment boxes, as well as in a chat environment. I have been using it now for a couple years without any problems.

Edit - I just Googled for you, and thank goodness Yahoo lets us post Wikipedia links...here the scoop on 'Tnyurl'. Hope that helps!

Oh hey...I just found this site for reducing the size of a url:

    http://www.tiny.cc/

    It works great too!

No, human beings would desire to get a grip, and do their very very own homework! Why bore absolutely everyone with the aid of exhibiting each and all the dumb words to a pair track that doesn't activity us in the slightest. they might desire to have long previous to yahoo or google in the 1st place. certainly, with the aid of giving out the right posting link, somebody is saving them a pair of steps. No, it quite isn't impolite!

Must be a glitch in Y!A, since I couldn't post some youtube links either.

It's RARE I do this but I MIGHT get the most answers I've ever HAD on this, with a little help!

    Thanks regardless!

It lets me paste a link, but it won't bring you to the site if you click on it. If the link is in a question, then if you go to answer the question, then you can click on the link and it will bring you directly to that site.

I post the links in the resource field, just copy and past them from the browser.

Hmmm, it's highlighted as an active link before I post.........

    But then it isn't..............
