i never went to prom or any school dances.

prom is way over-rated. and many of my friends regret spending an insane amount of money anyways.

Gal...Go for it..and Let You feel it happening..I think you should try all the things that is coming in your way...Either of thinking what is good and wrong..when it comes to events like Proms.

This are the few occassions where people come together and they get chance to know each other or an individual.Prom is a event for youths where they are at the END OF their Academeic Year...So what better stuff to get hanged on with your close buddies and pals..To take snaps..dressed like the Princess and Prince in fairy Tales..Who wanna miss those opportunities and who knows whether you will be able to enjoy this moment in the later eras of your life..and if you dont you will regret these days as we still do when we hear from others about there Prom related stories...So Lady There is no specific do`s and Dont`s..Just Be Yourself...Thats it..And even if you want ..then following...

Decide your dress pattern, shoes and hair style and they should match to your personality and other traits.

Dont over make up your face...Be Simple..But Be Gorgeous with a Grace Smile on your face which will cover the 10% misses that you left in hazzle bazzle situation at the last moment while leaving from Home to Prom.

Prescheudle your self before leaving to Prom by what time you have to reach to Home and if you are getting late then assure you call up your parents..so they know that their daughter is still in safe hands or still enjoying her Prom.

Thats all I got so far to my knowledge..Thanks.

Do it. Definitly do it. I have my deb coming up in about 5 weeks and i am a shy and quiet person. if you dont go then afterwoods everyone will be talking about it and where will you have been? Sitting at home in front of the tellie? You only get to do this once so go ahead and make the most of it. Dont sit in the corner or be the one saying i don't really want to go and dance.....you will miss out on all the fun. disadvantages i cant really think of any. But go out on that dance floor and give it your all!
