Trouble connecting computers to TV!?

Hello, so today I tried connecting my computer to my HDTV.

The HDTV has a VGA input, so I plugged the computer into the TV. When I turned on the computer, I saw the BIOS screen, then I saw the Windows XP loading screen, it finished loading, and... Nothing. Nothing happened. This also happened to me when I connected the computer to a CRT TV via S-Video.

I think its a problem with the resolution.

try going into safe mode (F8) and adjust the resolution

press F8 when the screen goes black right before windows loading screen

are you using the same output on your video card that you did on you regular monitor? do you only have one monitor plugged in?

    hope it works

Go to display properties, and go to the settings tab. right click on the white box with the big 2 in it, and make sure that attached is checked. Then left click on the box to highlight it and adjust the resolution until the picture shows up on the TV.

you need to fine the function key on your pc.. ( i learned this a few nights back)

so once you have ur pc connected to the tv again. you need to find your F key that has a little screen on it. on my computer its f4 some are f5

anywho you hold your function key. Fn and press the fkey with the screen on it 5 times (pretty fast) to get into whats know as "lcd mode" once its there it should display the desktop on your tv.

    good luck! =)

i only know a little... but check your settings on your

    NVIDIA display drivers.

There are different settings like Clone.

Also, you might need to tell it which is your Master Screen (PC) and that TV is the 2nd.

I am assuming you have video on your PC that you want to watch on bigscreen?
