    Response time is the length of time (expressed in milliseconds),that it takes an LCD screen to go from black to white to black, an important factor in viewing moving images (movies, games, etc). The lower the response time (2ms, for example) the better the viewing experience.

    The absolute minimum for gaming is < 9 ms to avoid "Ghosting".

    But colour, brightness, contrast, etc. are important, too.

    TIP: Go to the nearest Computer Store and compare the various models, Check out the online User Reviews, too, then decide for yourself.
