Can somebody please explain something to me (wrestling fans)?

Take a look at history. Whenever new groups form, other groups are created to combat the other groups or to take similar positions and so on. When PAC formed, PAP formed, then other groups formed to hate/love other wrestlers.

The same events that transpire in history are taking place, the wrestling section, except it's so much more stupider.

Someone who has been watching for many years. Someone who knows the history of wrestling-they have taken the time to learn the history of wrestling from back before they even watched it. They might have only been watching wrestling for 10 years, but they have researched the history and know of the NWA, of organizations that were around 30 years ago. Someone who is willing to point out the flaws that their favorite promotion has and does not ignore the mistakes their favorite promotion is making. Some people just come on here and are so pro-WWE or pro-TNA that its just sickening. If you can come on here and say "Hey ive watched WWE for 15 years, I love WWE but im just absolutely sick of what Vince McMahon has done with the company over the past 2-3 years" then you are a real wrestling fan. On the other hand if you come on here and all you can say is something childish like "TNA SUCKS-WWE SUCKS" well, chances are you are 12 years old and need to grow up.

Not enough of the users on here allow themselves to be unbiased when it comes to wrestling as a whole or thier opinions of the superstars. They have their favorites and their least favorites but at most times are unwilling to be open-minded about the good/bad qualities of the wrestler in question. As evident with the recent Cena "group" epidemic his haters are unwilling to give the man even a shred of credit for his accomplishments or physical attributes. On the other hand his followers are unwilling to acknowledge that John's matches are, more often than not, stale and uninteresting. The biased opinions and answers are a problem, but there are several users on here that you can rely on to give an honest unbiased opinion for your question - and they don't include any user with a group alliance in their username.

I think it's all about peer-pressure...or acceptance. The people you speak of are generally very young and they seem to possess the pack mentality. That is, if they seem to be alone they think it makes them look any of various ways: weak, vulnerable, "gay", retarded, stupid, etc. (all negatives). Possessing that pack mentality they seem to choose the path of least resistance, i.e. they join the group they think will offer them the most protection. They are afraid to stand out with a contrary opinion.

Very young fans (and me being 50 years of age, most people here are very young to me) are also extreme in their emotions; they either "love" something or somebody, or they "hate" them. And they quite often don't really know WHY they feel as they do, they're just going along with either the majority or their peers (the pack mentality).

Teenagers are also "rebels" (I was, too, when I was a teenager). If you and I dislike somebody and we're vocal about it, teenagers will love them. If you and I are a fan of somebody, teenagers will hate them. It ain't "cool" to like what the grownups like, see? I know, I was there at one time.

I see the explanation for your question as, A. pack mentality, and B. rebellion.

Us older folks aren't troubled by that. We speak our own minds, and we make up our own minds. We don't let others do it for us.

They think the groups are cool when obviously they are not. Like PAC, they hate Cena for no reason at all and that is just stupid. Cena is the one traveling around the world just to entertain us and he gets bashed? Id like to see the Cena haters in his shoes for a day and see how it is like. If you dont like Cena, at least they can do is respect him. Idk what is the big deal with all of these dumb groups. They are pointless in my opinion, it wouldnt make a difference. These groups are just pointless...and the hating on wrestlers is just pointless and stupid...

Because there are so many wrestling fans these days which are made up of a bunch of immature teenagers.

They think that it is funny to go around and bash other people's favorite wrestler, when in general it leads them nowhere in life.

It's all a conspiracy crated by the wwe script writers to make people hate some wrestlers or and others less, For example, PAC has caused more people to become cena fans. so it is just a big wwe conspiracy!!!!!!!

i'm not sure. i guess they think Yahoo Answers groups are cool..honestly i think its ridiculous. These groups are annoying and are overrated in the wrestling section. Especially PAC..the biggest overrated group on Yahoo Answers.
