Employer have to post a schedule? And can he/her send you home if it is slow?

Yes an employer has to print a schedule out. If he doesn't then ask him for a copy because you need to be aware of what days you need to work. Depending on where you work, they can send you home if its slow; because, your basically getting paid for doing nothing.

No. Obviously it would be in their best interests to let you know when they expect you to turn up for work, but they can do this orally.
And they can always send you home if it is slow.
