I eat pizza hut everyday for brkfast, lunch, dinner while pregnant, whats going to happen to my baby?
I am 23 wks pregnant w/a girl. I am a housewife and the only thing I can eat is pizza hut. My husband works during the day and he doesnt know I eat pizza hut everyday otherwise I think he would kill me for spending about 50 bucks a week on it. I know it has a lot of fat and empty calories, so will this affect my baby? I really dont have the taste for anything else. On weekends I say that I am going over a friends house but actually I call pizza hut and tell them to have my order ready, and i sit in the car and eat it up!!!! I dont eat anything else, not unless my husband is around then I will take a few bites of whatever I cooked...then when he gets up, i give it to the dog or I throw it away, i am starting to worry about the health of my baby, will she be ok?
the doorbell just rang, it was pizza hut, I ordered Pepperoni, green pepper and onion medium pan pizza...the total was 14.23
I take my pre natal vitamins every single day. I occasionally have a bowl of cereal. I drink water a lot.... I eat apples about 3x a week, and any other food makes me want to throw up when I think about it. I really am trying to incorporate other things in my diet but I gag when I look at it or think about it.... Pizza hut is the only thing I crave or want, my weight is 174 lbs and I was 154 before I got pregnant, my doctor said my weight was fine. I think i will tell my husband one day this week about my pizza hut diet.... (sighs)

hey! dominos is my craving! only i get pepperoni pizza, extra cheese, no sauce O_o...my husband isn't too happy about how much i eat of it either, i kinda got grounded from it lol. I talked to my doctor about it and he never said anything about any problems...our babies may just be a bit chunkier lol. good luck with the pregnancy! and enjoy your pizza ;)
just make sure that's not all you're eating tho...i eat a lot of pizza, but i'll also have salad, steak, breads and other stuff...so be careful with that!

ummm...that's not very healthy at all. You are not getting enough of the nutrients that you and your baby need. Are you taking your prenatal vitamins??? I hope so. What are you drinking throughout the day? Are you able to get some fruits in by drinking fruits or fruit shakes? There are lots of "you should be" things we can say but what is your reason? Is it just pure laziness or you just can't seem to stomach anything else? Can you possible mix it up a bit and have some tomato based pasta with lots of fresh veggies?? Honestly, I would worry too, you are already 23 weeks pregnant and I'm afraid your poor baby is being neglected from this type of eating habits. That being said, there are worse things you can do, so for your baby sake just try to get some better foods in your diet. Even if you eat pizza half the time it would make a difference.

You should definately try to eat a varied diet consisting of meats vegetables fruit and grains. Pizza Hut is ok once in a while, but not all day every day.
Dont beat up on yourself, pregnancy makes you do weird things sometimes... Start taking a pregnancy multi-vitamin if youre not taking one already. Try your hardest to eat a proper breakfast - have juice, yoghurt, fruit and cereal to give you a head start for the day.
You could also try making home-made pizza for dinners, load up the vegies!
I eat fast food too, so im not going to tell you off for it. But I will suggest that you try to change your eating pattern. In saying that, now all i can think about is Pizza Hut Thin crust pepperoni... (druel)

That's a lot of fat & grease to be eating. Maybe nothing will happen right away, but you are not exactly giving your baby a fair start. At least add some fruits & veggies. Drink a ton of water to flush that pseudo food you are ingesting & check on the story I linked to this answer.

the reason women r told to eat healthy during pregnancy is not just becoz their body and the baby needs it but also bcoz if they dont eat healthy the baby will leech their entire body for the nutrition it needs for its own development leaving the mother high and dry.
u have obviously a vry stong craving and u have completely given in to it either without struggling to overcome it.well,i suppose the baby wud be ok and so wil u be for the time being but as u reach older years u will suffer illnesses related to defficiency of elements like calcium,iron etc.pregnancy is not fun and if not handled the right way it takes serious toll on mother's health as well as that of the baby's.
i hope u try to overcome pizza craving.

Can you eat anything else? If so then get some self control and DON'T ORDER THE PIZZA! If not, try eating a pizza w/ lots of veggies and take your prenatal multi-vitamins.
I really suggest you talk to your doctor about your diet. He/She will know how to help you and your daughter.

Everything you eat, you baby is essentially eating. If you're eating empty calories, so is she. Pizza and nothing else doesn't meet the dietary requirements for a healthy pregnancy. If you can't manage on your own, you need to speak to your doctor about getting a nutritionist.

I am 22 weeks and I have craved Pizza from day one.
I would just get lots of veggies on that pizza so that it isn't a total waste of calories. But you should be fine. How is your weight?

I don't think it's gonna be really really serious, but it's not great to only eat one thing. But, when you're sick and pregnant you want what you want so who can really blame ya..
LOL, it's funny when I think about it. You hiding from your hubby so you can eat Pizza Hut like you were some kind of crack addict. It will make a good story to tell your kids when you're older :D
