I'm looking for a program that sends or helps send letters and cards to our military troops overseas for grade school aged children to participate in.

I'm not sure if my father will be walking me down the isle or if my husband and I will walk down together since it is a renewal. Suggestions for both would be great. thanks.

Should we get one guinea pig or two? We'd like to get one but I've read that they are very social and should not be singled out? Anyone have guinea pig experience? Also, should we give it a bath when cleaning the cage?

My daughter got a new build a bear and wants to bring her old one online at build-a- bear-ville too. I remember hearing that older bears can be registered with the new ones to play on line with both. I cannot figure out how to do this.

Am I wrong? Are the older bears being left out? If its possible to do it how?

We are a family of 3 with soon to be 4. We've been looking at Toyota and Honda minivans. We came across the Mazda5, its smaller, better MPG and costs less too.

...is it proper? The the first child will be almost 6 when the new baby arrives. I've heard that it shouldn't be done, being tacky and all. But I'm not so sure about that. Shouldn't all babies be celebrated? I'm just wondering what some of you may think of it.

who is turning 5 tomorrow, that she's going to be a big sister? We are expecting our 2nd child. I'm still in my first trimester, I don't want to have to explain things if, God forbid, something goes wrong. When should we let her know?

I went get some Strawberry Shortcake dolls for a birthday party my daughter was invited to and cannot find them anywhere. The sales person at Target said they were told to remove them from the shelves and that he didn't know why. I wouldn't think this odd except the same thing happened yesterday at Walmart.

In this day and age I'm glad to see a woman and black man running for president that have an actual chance at getting the job (its about time!). I'm just sad, I haven't any confidence that either of them can do the job with out making a bigger mess of things. I'm also not too thrilled about the prospect of McCain running things. So, now I'm left to choose the lesser of THREE EVILS!?!? What to do? I'm gonna write in Mickey Mouse thats what!!!...not really--lol .

My mother in law smokes in her house, it stinks! Every gift she she gives my daughter smells to some degree like cigarettes and cheep perfume. Most things have been clothing or something that I can wash once or twice and the smell is gone. However, this year she got my daughter an Ariel doll and it STINKS! I've managed to get the smell out of the doll's clothing (washed 2 times) but its hair and body still smell awful after 3 washings! I think the oder has become one with the plastic!?!?

Is there anything I can do to get the smell out?
