Can anyone explain EMO to me, I'm a bit out of the "loop" here?
Okay, I think its got something to do about being overly emotional?!!?
Uhm, what is EMO style? What would a person have to look like or do to be called EMO?
I don't want to stereotype anyone. I want to know what the EMO stereotype is. It isn't a term used by people my age and I'm just curious about its meaning... I want to know what is meant when a person is being called EMO, thats all.
I understand that is is derived from EMOtional... I want to know more than that.

emo people like black most of them cut there wrist and wear a lot of eye liner even guys.

its a label. dont believe in those things and dont get caught up in the loop. it destroys your morals and either turns you to think that "emos" are human but just have more fragile souls or you think "emos" are whiny a holes and all cut their wrists but dont think on either side or you will regret it. its not fun having to fight for your beliefs so dont get into it in the first place. labels hurt and cause drama.
stereotypes are what tells one what to look like or do in order to be a certain label. its like not being able to be yourself and always having to follow one way. stereotypes are horrible and is one of the causes for violence and pain in this world because some people dont feel like they live up to their label's "requirements".
