How could Ezekiel be so wrong, even with God's help?

In Ezekiel 29 - 30, he goes on this big rant type threat where he proclaims that Egypt will be taken over by Nebuchadnezzar and that the rivers will become dry and that the land will become a desolate waste... and he is one of God's prophets, so how did this prophecy fail so miserably?

Was he just a crazy old man mouthing off and talking big? Idle threats anyone?

That would mean to me that there will be a war, and the leader of Iraq will attack Egypt. It is also a clue as the the whereabouts of The Antichrist. ( Not the antichrist under John's definition )

I had this posed to me a time ago. I rejoice in the answer I was given by God. I look forward to when the fruits of Bush's labor ends up in stability for Iraq.

This is going to be good!
