Can only one spouse apply for bankruptcy???They have separate acounts, properties, and credit cards???

    In the UK yes, even if they shared property, although if they have a house the person made bankrupt would need to sell their share for the auditor.

    The only thing that would keep them from being able to would be if they live in a community property State like AZ, CA, ID, LA, NV, NM, TX, WA or WI.
