Baby looks ok but...?
I had another ultrasound yesterday (This makes like 6 which is nuts cause Im only 9 weeks pregnant).
The doctor was happy to see the baby looks fine, great even and theres a good strong heart beat, but she said she was concerned about the size of the sac. Anyone else seen this or had this happen?
Ive tried looking it up online and Im not finding anything, but the sac is measuring 1.5 weeks behind the fetus which is why the doctor says she is concerned. My HCG levels are doubling but its slow, takes about 5 days for them to actually double.
Theyve already put me through so much with this pregnancy, first they couldnt find the baby, then they found it thought it was a partial molar, I just dunno. (I also cant get a different doctor because Im not paying for it).

This is exactly what just happened to me.
The sac was measuring 1 week and 3 days behind the baby although the baby was growing at the correct rate.
My HCG levels were not as good as yours though. All up they went from 2850 up to 3798 in 3 weeks. So that is a good sign.
The heart beat at 8 weeks was 156 BPM which is a great rate.
I ended up seeing a specialist which cost me an absolutely fortune who said that in these cases the HCG levels are slow because your body knows that "something is not quite right".
He said that it is very possible for the sac to catch up and it is just a matter of waiting it out and seeing what happens. He said it was a 50/50 chance of pregnancy continuing.
So I started having weekly HCG and scans done.
Unfortunately at 9.5 weeks it showed the baby was measuring 3 days smaller than it should and there was no longer a heartbeat.
So I had a D & C done the following day.
I also could not find much on the subject and what I did find was only in some ways similar to my situation.
I really feel for you as I know the on-goig mental trauma of just not knowing what is going to happen.
I hope you are one of the lucky 50%.
Please let me know how you go.
My thoughts are with you.

Sometimes I think that doctors don't really know what is going on that they are just guessing. I'm sure everything will be fine. you are still early in the pregnancy. Try not to stress out about it. Take your prenatal pills and drink plenty of fluids.
