opinion: who is the greatest footballer ever ? fact: who said best was better than him, making best number 1?

i'm sorry to sound patronising, but some users on here confuse facts with opinions, an argument can be about both, the only difference is that everyone is entitled to an opinion, a fact is irrefutable(for the silly people, that big word means, that its right)

catmando maybe you should have paid more attention in school, i enjoy a good argument, but not with a child who has a mental age of three, i am not allowed by yahoo to call you a wanker, but its ok for me to think it. so i think you are a wanker.

to clarify for the idiots: fact, pele said george was the best.

my opinion: i agree with pele,

there is no defined best footballer ever, its all opinions, but what pele said is a fact, the content of this is only his opinion.

    Pele said best was better than him FACT but that was only his OPINION, one man does not make him the best ever many opinion polls answered have unanimously voted Pele to be the best ever FACT no polls have ever voted BEST unless they were Man u polls so they don't count as that would be biased.     In my opinion, Pele was the best footballer of all time, although Di Stefano and George Best come pretty close. It was Pele who rated Best as better than him. Many people rate Maradonna as the best, but Stanley Matthews was better and more versatile than him. It's all opinion of course, but the overwhelming majority of football fans go for Pele.

    Are you not doing the very thing you accuse others of? That being, you are confusing Pele's opinion with fact?

    In my opinion, Maradona was the greatest footballer ever. Just ask any Napoli fan.

    It gotta be Pele. He nearly scored every match. about 583 he scored for Santos and about 630 match he played. That a lot number of goal!!!!!
