Heroes of Might and Magic V and Windows XP problems?
I have been trying to install Heroes of Might and Magic V on my boyfriend's computer. He meets the system requirements. However, now the computer will get up to the password screen for logging on and will just keep restarting. It will boot in safe mode and I have uninstalled the game but it still seems to be doing it. Why is it doing it and how do I fix it?

to the first poster, it was released in 2006, designed for compatibility with XP and Vista, not all that old.
However, that problem was unlikely caused by the game, much more likely caused by file corruption or possibly bad ram, you're going to need to trouble shoot your system, using a restore point might help, any error messages that come if any do, will help trouble shoot it.

Installing a game shouldnt do that.
Try system restore from safe mode to a time before you started fiddling.
It likely wont work on xp as its a very old game.
