Does anyone know where and when Obama was actually baptized a Christian?

Update:

I only ask because his brother Roy Obama is a Muslim, and Barack belongs to a racist church http://www.tucc.org/ , but attending a racist church does not mean one was baptized and accepts Jesus.

Update 2:

Alot of the answers were very upset that I asked this question. Normally, religion would not play a part in choosing a President of the USA but since most terrorists in today's world are Muslims who want to kill us, we do not need a Muslim or Muslim sympathizer as a President. And since Barack Obama's brother Roy is a Muslim, we know he will definitely be a sympathizer.

For those of you who pointed out the Christian church members who practiced hatred - Let me point out that they did this outside of the Bible and without Jesus's approval. However, Muslims kill people because the Koran states to do this and they believe they have God's approval.

Update 3:

I also gave the link to Obama's church so you could do your own research and see that it is a black church for blacks only. Others are not welcome and you will see this if you do your own research at his church's web site.

His church (TUCC) is not what I would consider Christian in any way, shape, or form. It is a black separatist church with an anti-white - anti-Jewish agenda - preaching division and racial division. Well-known Racists like the pastor (Obama's close buddy) Jeremiah Wright, Jr. and Louis Farrakhan (Nation of Islam Leader) apply their racially motivated agenda to their black-only church congregation, instigating a Black Power will amongst church members (including Obama, Oprah, and others). If he was baptized at all - it was a baptism accepting racial discontent - not unity. I don't consider that Christian.

    Greetings! Two words:

    WHO CARES???????????????

I really don't give a flip if Obama gets elected and gets sworn in using a Koran. I really don't care.

And if you want to use a "muslim racist" church as a war cry, I will submit to you that the White Southern Baptist Church has been guilty of carrying out the Jim Crow laws, open segregation and lynchings throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries...and did so shamelessly.

In my college history class, I actually saw a picture of the Ku Klux Klan advertising a rally at an ASSEMBLY OF GOD church during the 1920's.

    Can you say hippocracy?

    Hope that helps. Take care.

I am not sure if or where he was baptized but you don't have to be baptized to be a Christian...Christianity is the belief that Jesus Christ is the son of GOD. Baptism is for the forgiveness of Original Sin and and anyone can baptize another by pouring water or using water/oil and signing the cross on their forehead...But you probably already knew that...

And you say he belongs to a "racist" church...what are you really implying by that????

He's a professed Christian. Has been for at least 20 years. He was baptized at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Although he says he is Christian. He does not attend church.

Why do you want to know? Oh, yes, you are one of those very frustrated, upset people who can see Obama getting closer to the Presidency.

So now the question is about him being baptized a Christian.

What are you going to think up next to use as a smear campaign, It is very interesting to me that prejudicial and judgemental people cannot see the harm they do to their cause and to themselves.

Keep going - what goes around comes around.

He says he was baptized and is a Christian. That's good enough for me; I have no reason to doubt him.

I don't know where Hillary was baptized either, or even if she was. Does she go to church? I don't know that, either. But she says she is a Christian, and that's good enough for me.

I have no idea where any of the presidentail candidates were baptized. Just curious, why would you want to know the time and location of someones baptism?

I would like to know if he had his kids Christened in the church and if they were given Christian full names.

What in the hell does this have to do with how well he can run our country? State and government are suppose to be seperate anyways! You should be concerned about his views on THE WAR OR THE ECONOMIC SITUATION and not if he was baptized or not!!!

    He DOES attend church.

But I haven't been in two weeks. I hope I'm suddenly NOT a Christian!

I was baptized at Peaceful Zion, but I can't remember what year or even what city it was in.

Just because TUCC is predominately African American does not make it racist!! Good grief, do a little homework before you make fools out of yourselves!
