It would suggest that you actually got pregnant just before your December period was due, which is odd as you are only usually fertile for a couple of days! Stay on the ball with this one you are obviously very fertile and could end up with a large handful!
Hope your pregnancy goes fine x

When I had the 1st dating scan with my daughter, I thought she'd be born near the beginning of December. However, her due date was 5th November! She came out a week late but there was still fireworks going off. I'd had a bleed which I thought was a period, so I mis-calculated and was actually 4 weeks further along than I had thought. It confused me, but I was pregnant for 4 weeks less than I'd anticipated, so was happy with that!

First dates go two ways...
Pregnancy is calculated 38 weeks from conception or 40 weeks from LMP.. I'm not exactly sure how the tech meausres baby out but I think it's by LMP just like a dr does...
I know exactly when my LMP was and thought for sure my conception dates were dead on but yesterday found out Aiden is measuring a week short.. so I have to go back in two months and I'm thinking he will end up being due a week later then first anticipated!

Your due date is normally 9 months and one week after the first day of your last period, so yours is around 25th August. The actual age of the baby will always we two weeks behind your pregnancy weeks because you ovulate around two weeks after the first day of your last period. So when you are 20 weeks pregnant, the baby is 18 weeks and so on.
Doctors still use this way of working out your due date because there is no way of knowing exactly when you ovulate.

i had my period in august...august 28 to be exact and i took a pregnancy test in november and it came back positive...there were some weird complications with my blood work and they sent me for a ultrasound...i was supposed to be 20 weeks when i went for it.....when i went to the doctor to see if everything was alright with the baby the scan determined the baby to be only 16.6 weeks...which was crappy...so i guess the only thing to say is that something had to happen within that month for you to stress out i guess. or maybe your body was getting ready for it or something....it is weird how that could happen...but from august 28 to nov 19 i didn't have my cycle. but according to the us i the baby reached into my cervix october 5...just be reassured that everything isn't always accurate...and that you can go in any time....i dont go by what the doctors say because they have been wrong so many times....i go with what my body is trying to tell me

Yup! With my first baby, we thought i was 12 - 13 weeks pregnant and the scan showed i was actually 9 weeks and 3 days! Us women are complicated and our cycles are the same!

I had my first scan at 10 weeks and was told i was 8 weeks, i told the midwife this wasnt possible so she booked me in for another scan 4 weeks later and guess what they agreed with my dates and said the baby must of been curled.

yes the same happened to me.there was a week and a half in my dates(from my period) and the scan date. But they went by the scan date. She arrived what we was told was a week early but she was in fact late as she had signs of being overdue, so my dates were right.
If you know when you concieved then stick to the date you think is correct.
I sure this happens all the time as i know lots of people this has happend to too.
