Because they are Godless. They are not held to being considerate, compassionate, forgiving, kind, respectful, and all the things all religions teach.

Atheism is an excuse for the ego to be answerable to itself as God.

I observe many questions and answers here (Level 6) and I do not agree with your observation that atheists say mean things or get upset "all the time"

I think when atheists say things like "There is no god" or "The bible is fables written 2000 years ago by uneducated people" these are facts as we see them, not angry remarks.

Nobody likes a point of view pushed upon them. Constant repetition is just plain irritating.

Concentrate less on preaching to the atheists around you, and more on living what you say you believe.

As for the atheists I know - they tend to have by far the best manners of all those I know.

Cwstuff, the Bible was put together by people filled with the Holy Spirit. Sure, education was pretty sparse back then, but they still had smarts. So what if it was made 2000 years ago? It really bugs me when people like you post comments that you know absolutely nothing about.

we won't get upset and say mean things when you tell us that God loves us and that we need to serve him, (because you love us) if YOU don't get upset when we show you that you're delusional and are wasting your time, energy, money, and life believing in a fairy tale. After all, we're only telling you because we care and it worries us to see people living their lives blinded by delusion.

i could ask you the same question about christians. Atheists are only trying to help all of you to realize God is only in your head and nowhere else.
