What is a good place to relocate in Florida from Ohio? Any pro's and cons? Sugestions?

Thinking about moving from Cleveland to Florida for obvious reasons (COLD!) However i dont want to move to a place where it looks nice during the day and the gansters come out at night. I am thinking orlando area or Tampa.

We chose Tampa. The traffic is not as bad as Orlando, which has the worst traffic jams in Florida. There are jobs because it is a city. It depends where you move in Tampa. The better schools are in Carrollwood, South Tampa and New Tampa, which are all good neighborhoods. There are two universities here, the Museum of Science and Industry, which is the largest in the southeast, the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center with plays and concerts, the Buccaneers Football team, the Lightning Hockey Team, the Yankees winter center. It is a diverse, interesting city.

Best place to relocate in Florida? Try the greater metropolitan Wewahitchka area. Really nice place. It's only 20 minutes from the beaches and the Gulf of Mexico, but only like 5 from the Apalachicola River. Nice, quiet area. Lots of new developments coming in like Gaskin Sawmill Estates and St Johns Village. There's a also good cajun place to eat downtown, as well as a nice park overlooking Lake Alice. Not far from all the shops and stores in Panama City and Port St Joe.

    Look it up.

Martin County or Port St. Lucie County. It's just north of Palm Beach County and growing quickly. Taxes are better, you are close to water, and there are no bad neighborhoods like in Palm Beach or Broward counties and they have A-rated school systems. Also, cost of living is less.
