Wow, are we living the same life?? I do the same thing! Quite often i have dreamt about someone I grew up with, childhood sweetheart, dated, then broke up. And usually in my dreams he hates me. I have often wondered why i dream this too. I have come to the conclusion that it's because he ended it with me and I still had feelings for him. I had even often wondered what could have come of it. Arggg...I honestly don't know. Crazy dreams!!
