are airsoft & paintball guns considered hunting weapons ?

they are not hunting tools they are toys.

This section is for HUNTING. Airsoft and/or paintball equipment are not toys, but questions about them really don't seem to belong in this section.

I agree that there should be a section dedicated to firearms (not all firearms enthusiasts HUNT), but airsoft and paintball really wouldn't belong there, either.

no, I am an experienced airsoft player and they are not used for hunting. The reason is that they can leave a mark or a gash, but, they will not be lethal enough to cleanly kill an animal or even a person for that matter. Paintball guns hurt and they are messy, but again are not lethal without some modifications (which I do not recommend)

no they are sporting goods so they are for sport and you couldnt kill anything with it (with one shot) bigger than a rabbit or bird cause if you shot a bird then it might stun them or break something unless you shot point blank range over and over then it might kill a bird and maybe a rabbit but it would take abunch of shots in vital areas

but small things like frogs and bugs then yea they are toast but only with paintball guns cause air soft would be kinda hard to hit them unless you where aiming like 1 inch away lol

no there not considered hunting weapons but if u get a powerful paintball gun u can knock a squrell out

they could kill a bird but they are consitered wepons or toys but not for hunting.

toys although they can inflict bodily harm and no you can not hunt with them. they might kill a sparrow but thats about it
