I could be wrong, but I don't think breaking or spraining your toe (or any body part) should cause a fever. Fevers usually indicate infection. How long ago did this happen? Is there broken skin on your toe? It sounds to me like you should see a doctor. In the meantime maybe try icing it and raising it. Take some Aleve, Tylenol, or something. And, no you're not a wuss.
edit--I bet it's broken. They say that they don't usually do much for a broken toe (at least that's what my mom told me when I thought I broke mine and she didn't want to take me to the doctor. lol) But, that fever really concerns me. How about calling the ER and asking? Be sure to mention the fever. I just don't think that's right. Hope you feel better.

I am a prime stage gymnast, and we quite often come throughout those problems. Lets filter out the noticeable first. Unfortunately, in the event you heard a crack of any kind, it's certainly damaged. If there's a obvious darkish line going throughout wherein the affliction is, its only a sprain. Sometimes sprains harm much more than breaks, so do not worry, retain icing and if the affliction persists on the equal Level, I could quite recall going to an orthopedic health care provider, on account that, it won't simply be a damaged toe, and it would ail you for the leisure of your lifestyles if no longer correctly dealt with for. If it's only a blank, useful holiday, then no, there is not so much you'll be able to do except keep off of it, and to ice. But it is extremely essential to get a moment opinion, exceptionally if you're very game orientated.
