Anyone been hit with Winreanimator?

I like a fool downloaded a dodgy link yesterday and it installed a nasty virus, anyone else had it? did you get rid of it easily? I used the recommended removal techniques that didn't work, reformatted disk and re-installed everything which is a bit extreme

    dear friend

as it is not clear by your question whether you are seeking help for not having virus in future or want to know as i was infected with it or not.

First of all always use a good antivirus and anti malware software and keep them updated to get rid of viruses. second thing always when you come to know your are infected with a virus. than simply at first step ask your antivirus to send that file for review and than shutdown your pc. after that update your friends computer with latest updates after two days and attach your harddisk there. and get it right.

and once i had the same problem like you. I virus once infected me. when i click on any thing it just get it deleted permanently. Only Avast antivirus help me to get rid of if.

WinReanimator is a new rogue anti-spyware program that can be installed on your computer through malicious websites, spam and as hidden additions to non-legitimate programs you install. WinReanimator can damage sensitive data and cause system slowdowns and errors.WinReanimator will issue fake security warnings that your computer is infected with spyware in order to trick you into purchasing its promoted spyware removal tool. We recomend to remove this dangerous malware using automatical removal tool.

Yes sometimes i dont bother to scan the software before downloading but its best to take to a repair shop in which they can scan your computer because they get rid of nasty viruses without messing up your computer.

However not all repair removes your computer in fact u can clean your computer and by doing that u can remove all the software u dont want.

    Best of luck Alvaro Rivera
