Have little miracles ever happened to you?

It is my birthday today as well! Happy Birthday , I hope you have many many more to come. So, that is a little miracle that one of my friends would share the same b-day, isn't it?

A couple weeks ago, I went on a short (supposedly less than 24 hrs) business trip with my husband. This trip was to get a truck part up to Wamsutter WY... just across county lines from the middle of absolute nowhere!!!

On the way back, we hit a snow bank... and the "idiot lights" on the dash start lighting up- check guages, check engine, ABS, seat belt, air bags... everything!.... And then the dash and headlights started fading... Did I mention we were in the middle of nowhere?... and temperatures were between 10 and 15 Farenheit.... NOT my idea of a good time!... Oh, and our vehicle has no heat, so we were already freezing!!!

By about 10 miles after we hit the snowdrift, the engine died.... and we coasted into Baggs WY. Check a map- that town is about the size of a postage stamp!!!

Even though we had to traipse all over town to get one, we found a motel. We had a warm comfortable place to stay the night (ok, so it was 3am when we checked in)....

And about what was wrong with the van?... Easy fix!!!

Yes, I was feeling a bit low because I had put on some unwanted pounds and could not get into a favorite pair of slacks. My little grandson came in, crawled up in my lap. I snuggled him and we had a big hug. He said, "Grammy, I just love to hug you. You smell so nice and you are fluffy". :)

First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY and yes thank God for miracles, other wise I would have been dead a long time ago. Also my daughter turns 19 today. So you share a great day. It is really early in the day to say someone forgot your birthday.

When I first started reading your question, I was going to share how every time my 3 year old son looks at me and says "you're beautiful Mama" it's a new miracle all over again. But then I got to the part where your 3 year old son sang to you, and I knew that you already understand. :-)

I've had a few little miracles like that when I have least expected them. I guess that's why they are called miracles. We don't expect them but maybe, just maybe, everyone is acting like they have forgotten but if they have you have lots of people here who are wishing you a loving Happy Birthday and mine is added right in with them all. Enjoy your birthday with your precious son. Maybe go out and treat the two of you to something you know he'd love to do or eat.

The only little miracles around me at the moment are my nieces and nephews. Hopefully I'll have some "little miracles" of my own soon.

Children are still perfectly in tune with Heavenly Father and can come out with some belters. They tend to be more willing to act on promptings from the spirit.

Ay don't feel Bad! My Family haven't remembered or celebrated my Birthday since I was 10 years old, LOL. It is only some friends which remember. Happy Birthday sweety, Hope you'll have a successful year and enjoy your time.

Yep ! 2006 after doctor told my family and I was going to die due to my heart being so badly damaged, but the next day during surgery, God created in me a brand new heart. A heart that never had a heart attack, no tears, blockage nor broken. According to the doctor, the heart in my chest now is about 20 years old. I have had many miracles throughout my life but this one is the most medically documented one, I have ever had !
