What would be the ultimate deterrent for atheist suicide?
Based off a previous question about these startling 'statistics' I began wondering what would stop an atheist from committing suicide? (Some) Christians have hellfire and eternal torment to look forward to if they commit this grievous sin.
What punishment would be appropriate for atheists?
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhat should I get: A desktop or a laptop?
I'm concerned about the durability of laptops vs desktops...I'm about to go buy a Samsung NP350 notebook, but I'm having second thoughts. Maybe a desktop might be a smarter choice?
8 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks8 years agoAre we setting ourselves up for ridicule from future generations?
Anytime a generation of humans has stood and announced they know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, where we came from and where we are going -- the future generations have always had a good laugh at this 'knowledge'. So why is OUR generation so special? Magic men in the sky, evolution from monkeys, heaven, hell...
What would a human, 400 years from now, studying posts from R&S think about our civilization and our intellect?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAccident during gym class -- who is to blame?
My son is in second grade, and he is an exceptional soccer player. The gym teacher decided today that the class should play soccer (boys vs girls) and my son tried to get the ball away from a girl and ended up breaking her leg. I was called to the school and one by one the teachers all yelled and blamed my son for being 'too wild' and threatening my son with expulsion. My question is... doesn't the gym teacher have some responsibility here?
4 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education9 years agoWas the forbidden fruit really an apple?
Could it be that we got the translation wrong and it's actually a Pineapple? How would the Genesis account be different if the forbidden fruit was...say...a watermelon? Kiwi? MANGO?

3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhy didn't Jesus resurrect people to Heaven?
He resurrected hundreds of people, but he always brought them back to earth to live out their lives (aka to get old, sick and eventually die AGAIN). Why didn't he just leave them in heaven where they were obviously enjoying their eternal reward (in the case of Lazarus, who was Jesus' best friend, he must have had it MADE up there -- but oh no, Jesus had to drag his tushy back).
Why would Jesus do this, if we are meant to go to Heaven?
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoChristians, if you could 'save' just one atheist in R&S, who would you save?
...and atheists, if you could 'illuminate' just one Christian, who would you select?

Don't they know they can have them removed?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhat would happen if an Atheist decided to leave the 'unfaith'?
In the olden days 'christian' churches used to kill and/or torture those who left the church. Islam is no different nowadays in many parts of the world.
What about Atheists? What sort of inhumane punishment could they impose on such persons who leave the unfaith (disfaith? misfaith?)
Those of you who take questions from cows seriously need not answer -- unless they are overcome by a fit of silliness.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs Satan an Atheist or a Theist?
35 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy are Christians so afraid of the word 'Apocrypha'?
Apocrypha means Hidden. That's it. Hidden Gospels? What's so evil about that? And why is the Catholic Church in charge of which books get to be in the New Testament (and the Old)? Even Jude quotes the Book of Enoch -- but the Christian churches still don't see the value of such books. Why?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat have you Athesits done with all the Christians round here?
You've EATEN them, haven't you? I leave for just a few years and THIS is what I return to. Tsk tsk tsk.
