What would happen if an Atheist decided to leave the 'unfaith'?

In the olden days 'christian' churches used to kill and/or torture those who left the church. Islam is no different nowadays in many parts of the world.

What about Atheists? What sort of inhumane punishment could they impose on such persons who leave the unfaith (disfaith? misfaith?)

Those of you who take questions from cows seriously need not answer -- unless they are overcome by a fit of silliness.

i've got individually had classes of the two apathy and extreme conviction-- the 1st this skill that i could care much less what different persons think of or do with their lives, the 2d this skill that i think the could desire to instruct human beings what's "precise" (properly, what i think of is sweet.) That replaced into frequently while i replaced into youthful and politically/idealogically charged, and felt the could desire to "enlighten" the international-- no longer in basic terms religiously, yet philosophically and otherwise. I even have considering that wisened up plenty and found out that persons have self assurance what they like/could desire to have self assurance consistent with their own own adventure. i do no longer see the component incredibly in attempting to alter somebody's ideas. perception in some thing like God is a individual adventure and can be intimate and private. (i'm going to nevertheless fiercely debate politics, although . . . . ) I say to each and each his own. frequently, i think of the ideas-set of conversion belongs greater in direction of people who're non secular than people who are not-- frequently because of the fact there's a penalty to no longer believing in God (in accordance to non secular persons-- hell, damnation, regardless of you want to call it). If atheists are precise, then there is no penalty for believing in God while there is no longer one-- only "lack of awareness" and probably a waste of time. it is not pretty much as undesirable as eternity in hell. So many times, it extremely is stay and allow stay. easily, i think of faith does have an substantial place in human beings's lives. i wouldn't in any respect attempt to take somebody's ideals away except they have been volatile to others.

They are strapped to a chair in front of a TV with their eyelids clothespinned open and forced to watch televangelists 24/7 until they come to their senses. This technique always works.
