Is Satan an Atheist or a Theist?

A Theist, he definitely believes in God

He's a theist, read Job, he and God spoke to each other.

His followers the demons know the Son of God Jesus Christ as well.

Read about the demons cast out of the men in the cemetery into the pigs that ran into a lake and drowned. These demons asked why Jesus was persecuting them before their time.

Satan and the demons are well aware that they face destruction, but, until that time comes they are free to try and draw us away from God.

It is important to read and understand the Bible so that you can be confident that God has got it all sorted, the day will come when Satan and all evil will be no more.

Of course Satan knows God. And is the one who invented atheism. Humans are stupid enough to fall for it.

As by tradition satan is a fallen angel expelled from heaven by god he must really be a theist being one of the few to have seen god. Unless he has in the eons since decided this was just something he made up to console himself for living in a nasty place.

Well, the Bible portrays Satan as being someone who could enter the presence of God (in the book of Job), so it would seem that he believed in God, which would certainly make him a theist, if he really existed.

In order to deny the existence of anything one must acknowledge that believing in that thing is what gives it power. Therefore, he would have to be a Theist, otherwise why would he spend time trying to discredit God and Christ?

Reading that silly book, Satan was god's 'counselor'. read the book of job. not the best of times for the xtian god, for certain. But it was Lord Satan who understood humans. It was god who punished humans, not Satan. all the pestilence? but then again, when was? Creating Adam and Lilith? that didnt work out, nor his second attempt at a female mate.

for the sake of argument let us say satan and god exist. satan would technically be a gnostic theist, because he knows god exists (in this hypothetical universe) as he has interacted with god, and he believes god exists again from the aforementioned reason

so yeah gnostic theist

Since Satan started his existence as Lucifer, one of the Angels, he would certainly have to be a Theist, having always known God - even when he turned against Him.
