I say make a romantic evening for him. Make him his favorite meal, light candles, play soft music and write him a sweet card. I think he would like it too if you bought some sexy lingerie from Victoria's secret to wear for him. Guys love that.

Look sometimes the best gifts in life are the simplest. An idea maybe would to go out to a park for a long walk. Talk about life or anything in general. Then sit on a park bench and enjoy the park, each other and maybe just look into a crystal ball and ask each other what do you think we will be doing ten years from now? Talk, laugh enjoy each other and then maybe on the way home stop at a donut shop, and then go home. This is simple and I think romantic. Thoughts and memories sometimes are so more important than material things.

At this point, I'm sure you know what he likes. Get him something that you know that he would enjoy. Does he have a favorite sports team? Get him tickets to see them the next time they are in town. Do you know his favorite band/artist? Get some concert tickets.
