Am I the only one?

I am sick and tired of small-minded people insinuating and/or coming right out and saying I am "stupid," "jumping on the bandwagon," "trying to prove [my] tolerance" and on and on. I support Obama during this primary season. I have educated myself on his issues, what he has done and what he stands for. He is the candidate I want to take to the general election. I am neither democrat, nor republican. I have supported him since before the Iowa caucuses, and I could care less what his color, gender, religion, age, or sexual orientation is!

Is anyone else as sick of this crap as I am?

I'll steal a question from Chris Matthews and ask you, since you say you've educated yourself on the issues and what he has done, WHAT has he done that has benefited America? Something tangible please, some legislation that has helped take America in the right direction. Also, why has he continued to vote for funding of the Iraq war and voted against a time table for withdrawal when he was essentially voted in based on his stance (aka speech) against the war? That's what really bothers me about him. I feel that what he has done has been politically motivated and then he speaks about being against the old politics. For example, he voted against the time table proposition but then introduced a time table once he decided to run for president, isn't that a little bit of old politics? Also, he says he's against lobbyists and special interests so he passes this "ethics reform" bill that doesn't allow public office holders to "sit" and eat with a lobbyist but they can do so it they stand and eat. Isn't that a mere technicallity that really shouldn't be touted as a major success? I don't care about his color, religion, etc. I care about what he's done and shown and I really don't see much to support. I'm all for hope and change but hoping for change isn't enough, you have to prove to me that you can accomplish that change and therefore give me hope.

Yes, well that cr*p is all over YA.

I guess what concerns me is what you are educated on? Obama has some issues. I read his 64 page PDF on his site. But I am concerned about other things. Personally I think as a country we can do better in terms of leadership.

One major issue is how we fund health-care. We are trillion in debt, and CA, as a state can't afford UHC. How can the federal government? All the digital records BS is is simply that, BS. They will give the contract to the Democratic version of Halliburton.

Another question is this, are we going to cut and run in Iraq and leave woman and children to the same civil war and genocide that is going on in Darfur; and did in Vietnam and Cambodia when we just pulled out?

Honestly, McCain is the only one in the running that is not on Judicial Watch's Top 10 Most Corrupt Politicians" list. Yes, Huckabee is there too. Is McCain perfect, no, but he is experienced.

I am neither democrat nor republican, however I have a hard time putting my faith into a man who is not from this country at this time in the US. Don't get me wrong the last person I want in the white house is Hillary either it is her and Bill's fault that the US was attached in the first place. I personally want Mitt Romney in the white house, He wants our Troops home and is looking out for the middle class not the lower class or the wealthy people. I think it is about time someone looks out for us, we always get left behind for one reason or another.

Yep I'm really sick of it. I'm a strong supporter as well and I have been since before he announced his plans to run. If you agree with him on the issues and think he's the best guy for the job, stick with it. Don't listen to other people's rubbish about it!

I too am Obama support, but I like him since he spoke at the dem convention. But I am a true believe in america and I will support who ever gets into office, as long as that person cares about all americans not just the ones who will line his pockets.

Does not bother me at all...these people are in for a rude awakening...they are underestimating him, just like Hillary did

Perhaps, you should do more research on the man.
